Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park
The Río Grande in Coín, Málaga, is a tributary of the Guadalhorce River, one of the main rivers in Andalusia. The source of the Río Grande comes from the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve known for its lush landscapes, underground springs, and unique biodiversity.
The river is fed by natural mountain springs and rainfall, flowing through the valleys and farmlands of Coín before merging with the Guadalhorce River, which eventually reaches the Mediterranean Sea. Its pure, mineral-rich waters make it a valuable natural resource, supporting local agriculture, wildlife, and, of course, your natural spring pool at The Dragonfly Retreat
